The Challenge
The client required a website that would serve 2 purposes:
- An informational website providing clients with information regarding the products and services being provided
- A web-based platform to allow users of Real Capita Group to log in, fill up the necessary paperwork, book plots, view statements. Essentially an accounting portal combined with a CMS.
What we did to tackle it? Innovative ideas?
The website was very information heavy which is why we designed a website implementing an easy-to-comprehend, logically structured informational architecture so as to aid the user in accessing the information they are looking for quickly and easily.
- To ensure that if the need arises and the customer would like to contact the clients, contact information and even direct contact methods from within the website.
- To allow the customer to see the plots, we added maps for each of their sites
- The website also contained a lot of high-resolution images which we sized and ensured responsiveness across all platforms.
- With regards to the accounts + CMS Portal, the client wanted to showcase what plots they had available. We used a system of lists to zoom into the plots which were available. We also came up with a very simplistic UI/UX to manage the accounting portal.
Goals
One of the primary goals that Real Capita Group wanted addressed is to have a website where their clients can:
- Gain information about their projects
- Apply for these plots from overseas
Due to this, they decided not to revamp their website but to create a new website entirely with a login page for their staff and potential clients to allow for clients to book properties.
