UI/UX Design

The Challenge

A company wanted to compete for a government tender which required them to create designs of a web platform they will create if they get the tender. This presented a very unique challenge. Due to this being a government project, it had to adhere to very strict guidelines from colour palettes, to contrast ratios. It had to adhere to strict data security protection and the inner workings of the project was massively intricate.

What we did to tackle it? Innovative ideas?

  1. Our UI/UX and requirement analysis team had to keep in constant contact with the clients over in the USA. This meant very early morning or very late night calls. We do take a very customer-centric approach to how we conduct business and therefore we try and shape our schedules to assist the client and ultimately the project.
  2. Both our UI/UX and requirement analysis team had to sit down, work in tandem and figure out the exact requirements. Mapping out every stage step-by-step, figure out how to deal with the intricacies and then how to adhere to all the governmental policies and regulations.
  3. This required proper time management and proper division of tasks which is where our project manager had a huge role to play in optimizing the entire process.

Goals

The goal for this client was to envision their product before development. A UI/UX vision of their future product which adhered to all of NYSED (New York State Education Department) parameters which includes colour-contrasts, font types, all the way to data privacy and data protection.
